Park City Museum
This expansion and redesign of the old Park City Museum tells the unique and lively story of a mining
town turned skiing and film mecca. The new exhibits bring to life the stories of an independent, spirited
community and the economic, political, and social structures that set it apart from other western
communities. Interactive experiences take visitors back to the boom and bust days of mining, introduce
them to the rich and diverse cultures that resulted from a mining-dependent community, and acquaint
them with how a burgeoning ski industry saved this town from a mid-century death.
