daycare center (unnamed)
Local Studio, a prominent Bay Area boutique architecture firm, approached me to bring my immersive museum design expertise to the daycare education space. My job was to review existing concepts (Gym,Language, Art/Music, STEM) and find opportunities to advance them and make them stronger, more impactful, “wow-worthy,” and buildable.
To that end, the designs that were finally implemented create more immersive learning environments, engage with the architecture, have elements that transfer to an existing space, can be modified to fit existing locations to locations, reflect current brand direction and vocabulary, and provide elements of interactivity for the 3-5 year old audience.
Responsibilities: Architectural integration; Art direction for branding and graphic design; all phases of 3D design as it pertained to the design of the four immersive, interactive classroom spaces; engineering and fabrication oversight.
