Mid-America Science Museum
Exploratorium was engaged to design, develop, fabricate, and install the galleries and exhibits for a museum wide renovation offering stronger connections between science and visitors’ everyday lives along with expanded learning opportunities for teachers and schools. The completed project includes 80 new exhibits in 5 galleries, an outdoor skywalk, 3-meter climbing structure, 2-story water feature, and multiple artworks.
Responsibilities: Interpretive planning; exhibit design (including the design of interior architecture, individual exhibits, and exhibit vocabulary); art direction (for graphics and media); curation; oversight of exhibit development, engineering, fabrication, and installation
